Friday was a great day. Well, mostly. Better than most.

My parents had been gone the previous eve, so i stayed up till 3am writing music. I managed to finish two tracks (more or less) and talk with Rach, Matt, Becky, Etc, in the process. After falling asleep for a short while, i got dropped off at the mall. I played a few rounds of DDR, sat in class and spaced out for a while, then went out and met up with Matt, who was working at Kohls.

In Kohls Matt and I acted out a scene from The Matrix for his supervisor, who got a kick out of it. And then... kicked me out. haha. Eventually Matt got off and we went to the pad for a while. After some DDR, Becky suggested we go to Longs Park and hang out.

Matt and i climbed into Becky's car, TIm and Andy went in Tim's car a few minutes later. After we got to the park, matt and I decided to steal Becky's car, and ended up having to drive it out of the entire park to turn the damn thing back around and park it again.

Once andy and tim showed up (with mike as it turns out), we decided to go "old skool" and play tag. Two people it, four people running. We ran around for two hours, vaulting over walls and climbing various forms of park equipment to escape from "It". It was a blast.


In retrospect, i think i might have overdone the whole run and jump thing. My legs are on fire today, walking up and down stairs, sitting, etc is a royal pain. With two advil and an ibuprofin, the pain is down to a dull roar, It sucks. But, we'll probably end up doing it again on friday.
